1. Who we are

Risk Information Systems is a service by Alpha Omega Norden AS, Kjelsåsveien 29C, 0488 Oslo, Norway. Organisation number 984 851 324 MVA. Email: contact@riskinfos.com. Alpha Omega Norden AS is the seller in every purchase, and is the name you will see on your receipt and card statement.

2. What you buy

Each country risk report is a digital document in PDF format, in English, covering one country. The product page shows the date of the report's latest update and the structure of its contents. The Ghana report is offered free of charge as a sample.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars for customers outside Norway and in Norwegian kroner for customers in Norway. VAT is added at checkout where Norwegian or other applicable VAT rules require it. Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your card details.

4. Delivery

Your download link is shown on the order confirmation page immediately after payment, and is sent to the email address you give at checkout. If you do not receive it, contact us and we will resend it.

5. Licence

When you buy a report, your organisation receives a non-exclusive licence to use it internally. You may:

  • store, print and share the report with colleagues in your own organisation
  • quote short extracts in internal or client documents, with "Source: Risk Information Systems" as attribution

You may not resell, publish, upload to public websites, or distribute the report or substantial parts of it outside your organisation without our written permission. Copyright remains with Alpha Omega Norden AS.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Cancellation Act. Because the report is digital content delivered immediately, you agree at checkout that delivery starts straight away, and you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal lapses once the download is made available (Cancellation Act section 22 (n)). Business customers have no statutory right of withdrawal.

7. Our guarantee

If a report does not cover what its product page describes, or the file is faulty, contact us within 14 days of purchase. We will send a corrected file or refund the full price. See our refund policy for details.

8. How to use the reports

The reports are a concise starting point for identifying country risks. They are based on public sources and expert assessment, and reflect conditions at the date stated in the report. They are not legal, financial, investment or security advice, and do not replace your own due diligence or professional judgement.

9. Limitation of liability

We make every effort to ensure the reports are accurate and complete. To the extent permitted by law, Alpha Omega Norden AS is not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made on the basis of a report, and our total liability for any purchase is limited to the price paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Complaints, disputes and governing law

Contact us at contact@riskinfos.com if something is wrong with your order. These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If we cannot resolve a dispute with a consumer, you may ask the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) for mediation, and bring the case before the Consumer Complaints Committee (Forbrukerklageutvalget). Oslo District Court is the agreed venue for business customers.
